President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University meets the academic members from various faculties of the University

Our President, Prof. Sari Hamdan, met with the academic members from the faculties of Engineering, Architecture & Design, Nursing as well as the faculties of Agricultural Technology, Pharmacy and Allied Medical Sciences on Thursday 27/10/2022. This meeting was in the presence of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of our Faculty of Law, Prof. Musleh Al-Tarawneh and the Vice President for International Relations and Quality Prof. Anas Al-Soud. Prof. Hamdan started the meeting by directing a speech to our dear academic members from various faculties, whereas he mentioned the strategic goals of the university during the academic year 2022/2023, and stressed on the need to maintain the ethics of this educational profession, maintain current academic performance and scientific research as well as the mutual respect between faculty members and the students. Hereafter, he also highlighted the need to take into consideration the administrative hierarchy among colleagues and faculties. In addition, Prof. Sari supported scientific research from a qualitative applied perspective especially in the case of joint research in collaboration with top-notch international universities. Moreover, the international accreditations and rankings of the university were discussed as well as the necessity for all academic and administrative members to be involved in this matter and contribute into elevating the academic reputation of the university and increase its outreach.Prof. Mutasim Abdel Jaber, Dean of our Engineering Faculty, Prof. Abdelsalam Al-Shboul, Dean of our Architecture & Design Faculty and Prof. Mohammad Al-Tanani, Dean of the Pharmacy and Allied Medical Sciences Faculties have stated the achievements of their faculties and the key development objectives for the new academic year 2022-2023. In conclusion, a discussion session took place between faculty members and our university president on a set of issues and current challenges, where Prof. Sari expressed his kind wishes for this upcoming academic year to be filled with progress and prosperity.
