President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University Meets Faculty Members

On the start of the new academic year, HE Prof. Dr. Sadeq Hamed, President of the University, met the faculty members of the University. At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the University welcomed the attendees and congratulated them on the beginning of the academic year, wishing them all further progress and success. Dr. Hamed also spoke about the University achievements over the past year at the scientific and practical levels. These achievements were accomplished thanks to the joint efforts of all employees at the University, he noted. Dr. Hamed observed to the need for excellence which primarily requires knowledge and efficiency in order to obtain outstanding outcomes. The University is moving forward and this requires effort, teamwork, and working collectively to improve the quality of the University, he noted. Dr. Hamed highlighted the need to conduct a comprehensive review of the study plans continuously in order to introduce new disciplines that meet the need of the market. HE Dr. Hamed also pointed out to the importance of institutional work through the Council of Deans, boards of departments and the Faculty Council, which keeps things running smoothly and makes it easier for students to reduce formalities and dedicate their time fully to their studies. Dr. Hamed confirmed that the University administration will not hesitate to provide any material and moral support in order to sustain the educational process and to improve the level of its employees. At the end of the meeting, the participants were offered room for discussion and the President of the University listened to the questions and interventions by the faculty members.
