President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University meets deans of faculties and directors of departments and centers

Prof. Sadeq Hamed, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, has met deans of faculties and directors of departments and centers. At the beginning of the meeting, the President congratulated the new deans and wished them success in their new positions. He asserted that Al-Ahliyya Amman University deserves to be considered the leading Arab private university. Dr. Hamed praised the efforts of AAU founder, Dr. Ahmed Al-Hourani, who aspired to create radical change in the higher education sector through the establishment of this University. He added that the University is preparing to celebrate its silver jubilee next year, which has become an outstanding success story that is a source of inspiration for many universities. Dr. Hamed tackled the issue of amicable and close cooperation between the academic and administrative staff of the University and the need to achieve justice among all and to comply with the regulations and instructions. He affirmed that utmost attention should be dedicated to student issues and that assistance and support should be provided to them. He added that the University is seeking in the near future to update the student handbook, which will include all information and guidance that represents a road map for the students. At the end of the meeting, Dr. Hamed called for continued efforts and building on the significant achievements of the University. The attendees presented their observations and constructive suggestions, which could be applied to raise the level of the academic and administrative performance of the University.
