President of Al Ahliyya Amman University Honors Students Winning National Competitions

The President of Al Ahliyya Amman University honored students who achieved top results in several national competitions, celebrating their accomplishments that elevated the university’s standing among its peers. The recognition included the Faculty of Information Technology team, which won first place in the SheHacks competition for female students, organized by Green Circle Company, with the attendance of its CEO, Eng. Mohammad Al Khudari. The competition featured 49 teams from 27 Jordanian universities. The winning team consisted of students Lamees Shaath, Sally Al Kubariyti, Rania Matar, and Hiba Al Khararbah. The achievement came under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Professor Mohammad Al Qatawneh, lecturer Nidaa Al Shafie, and Mr. Hussein Al Zughatit. The President also honored student Ali Shibli for hosting the closing ceremony of the Zain E-Sports University Championship. Additionally, the university honored its men’s basketball team after securing second place in the 3×3 Inter-University Basketball Championship organized by the Jordanian University Sports Federation. The team included Abdullah Shatat, Yousef Al Ba’beesh, Al Tayyeb Montaser Qasem, and Fadi Al Nazli. Professor Sari Hamdan emphasized that the achievements of the university’s students stand as compelling evidence of the institution’s academic leadership and its advancement among Jordanian universities. He noted that the students’ presence on national and international winner podiums reflects the university's genuine investment in building a generation capable of creativity, innovation, and confident competition. He further stressed that the university remains committed to supporting its students and providing them with training opportunities, care, and continuous development. He affirmed that their excellence is a source of pride and reflects the distinguished status the university has attained across scientific, technological, and athletic fields. The ceremony was attended by Professor Mohammad Al Qatawneh, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Professor Mustafa Atteyat, Dean of Student Affairs, Mr. Nader Sweidan, Director of the Arena Complex, Mr. Issam Al Sahhar, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, and Mr. Mohammad Al Lozi.
