Presentation on master's program Arbitration in Construction Contracts during Al-Ahliyya Amman Faculty of Law meeting with Ministry of Works
Dean of the Faculty of Law at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Professor Dr. Mohammed Dhuneibat, met with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Works, Engineer Marwan Al-Jumaani, at the ministry's headquarters in the presence of Professor Dr. Musleh Tarawneh, who is in charge of the program Arbitration in Construction Contracts for the master's degree in the faculty. From the Ministry, Engineer Ghaith Al-Nawaisa, the director of the ministry emergency unit, attended the meeting. At the beginning of the meeting, the Secretary-General welcomed the delegation of the Faculty of Law, then Dr. Musleh Tarawneh delivered a detailed presentation on the program and its importance to the Ministry of Public Works, as it meets a genuine and urgent need, since the Ministry is responsible for the implementation of construction contracts and contributes to the resolution of problems and disputes arising from such contracts.The Secretary-General stressed the importance of arbitration as an alternative means of resolving disputes instead of traditional procedures before courts. Dean of the Faculty of Law expressed the university's willingness, with the support of the Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr. Maher Al Hourani and the President of the University Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, to provide all assistance to the directors and employees of the ministry who are enrolled in this program.The Secretary-General concluded the meeting by expressing his personal interest in the program, and that it should be publicized among the ministry's staff.
