” Please Try to Quit Smoking”, An anti-smoking campaign at Al-Ahliyya Amman University.

The Nursing faculty at Al-Ahliyya Amman University launched “please try to quit smoking” campaign which has been organized by the students of Health Education Course at the University. It is worth mentioning that launching this initiative comes in accordance with the University's keenness to support extracurricular activities and voluntary initiatives of the utmost importance, which have the greatest impact on the growth and development of the student's personality. The campaign aims to consolidate the culture of quitting smoking, find an anti-smoking environment, remind the disadvantages of this scourge especially the risk of cancer and other diseases that increase the mortality rate, in addition to health, economic, social and the psychological threats coming along with the continuous increase of smoking.Atheer Al-Zou’bi, Samah Al-Nashash, Rema Qumwa, Suzan Ghnemat, Aghareed Hyasat, and Obada Al-Shibli are all students who participated at this campaign.
