Participation of Al-Ahliyya Amman Nursing in the Change Initiative

The Nursing Faculty at Al-Ahliyya Amman University participated in the Change initiative for workers in the Health Sector, which aims to raise the health level of breast cancer and change the desired behaviour, as well as to conduct tests for early detection, and promote public awareness for the danger that may increase the likelihood of the infection of the disease and its symptoms, and that early detection contributes to raise the healing rate to 95% according to the latest medical studies in this regard.The initiative relies on the students to conduct preliminary examinations at the Faculty laboratories and to distribute awareness leaflets to the university students. The implementation of this initiative has been supervised by Dr. Samira Al-Habashneh and Dr. Khaldoun Hamdan, the Dean assistant for training, where the campaign has been enjoyed very popular reception among students due to the utmost importance of the subject.
