Our Information Technology Faculty welcomes its new students

Prof. Omar Al-Adwan, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, met and greeted the new students of the first semester of the academic year 2022/2023. This welcoming meeting was held at Nizar Al-Qabbani Auditorium, in the presence of the Vice Deans, Heads of Departments and a number of faculty members. At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Al-Adwan welcomed the new students and congratulated them for choosing Al-Ahliyya Amman University and the Faculty of Information Technology in particular to complete their studies. He also mentioned the standards of quality the faculty follows and the international accreditation it has achieved and willing to achieve, as well as the BA and MA programs it offers such as the MA degree in Cybersecurity and the new laboratories of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Prof. Omar Al-Adwan pointed out the importance of students communicating with their academic advisors via e-mail, Microsoft Teams platform or visiting their offices during the office working hours in regards to any concern or inquiry. In addition, he encouraged students to participate in extracurricular activities such as local, regional and international competitions, while highlighting their importance in influencing the interpersonal skills of students and their scientific knowledge. He also explained the methods of learning for the academic subjects, (face-to-face - integrated - online). At the end of the meeting, an open discussion took place to answer the students’ inquiries and questions, where the Dean concluded by wishing the students good luck to years full of success.
