Our Faculty of Agricultural Technology Participates in the 23rd National Olive Festival

Faculty of Agricultural Technology participated in the 23rd National Olive Festival on November 23, 2023. The festival, inaugurated by Minister of Agriculture Engineer Khaled Hneifat on behalf of His Majesty King Abdullah II, coincided with World Olive Tree Day. The event, attended by prominent figures, included the presentation by the faculty's dean, Dr. Subhia Suaifan, and student Abdullah Abu Kishk, who showcased entrepreneurial initiatives by presenting various olive varieties and chemically examined high-quality olive oil. The university's support for students' participation in entrepreneurial activities and national events was evident. The festival featured a wide-reaching campaign to support Gaza through donations in collaboration with the Hashemite Charity Organization. Additionally, the Council of Senators' Solidarity Fund contributed 20,000 JD worth of festival products to be delivered to Gaza. Organized by the National Center for Agricultural Research in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, the festival runs until December 2, with daily events from 10 AM to 10 PM at Mecca Mall, Exhibition Hall, Gate 3.
