Our Business School organizes a lecture under the title “The Reality of Legal Accounting Profession in Jordan and its necessary professional certifications”

The Accounting Department at our Business School hosted Mr. Omran Al-Tallawi, former Chairman on Wednesday 7/9/2022 Mr. Omran Al-Talawi, former CEO of the Jordanian Association of Certified Public Accountants, with the purpose of linking the theoretical academic part with the practical to meet the requirements of our labor market.During the lecture, Mr. Talawi shed light on the reality of legal accounting profession in Jordan along with its recruitment opportunities and the current challenges it is facing. He also discussed the necessary professional certifications that the accounting graduates must obtain to hold a competitive advantage among others and enable them to engage in the labor market and occupy best possible job positions.Hereafter, Mr. Al-Talawi responded to the questions and inquiries of faculty members and students from our Accounting Department and provided guidance and advice to the students willing to continue their educational journey in this field. In conclusion, Prof. Fayez Haddad, Dean of our Business School offered the University's shield of honor to Mr. Omran Al-Talawi for his presence and sincere efforts in giving this lecture.
