Osama Al-Masri Shines in Fencing World Cup

Osama Ziad Al-Masri, a player from our university and the national fencing team, clinched the bronze medal in the Sabre category for the general public at the conclusion of his participation in the Satellite Baghdad Fencing World Cup. The event, held in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, witnessed broad international participation. Al-Masri secured victory against an Iranian player in the quarterfinals before losing in the semifinals and ultimately earning the bronze medal. Abdullah Khalil Tahla, another player from the Faculty of Engineering at our AAU, also participated in the same championship but exited in the quarterfinals. Our AAU, represented by our President, Professor Sari Hamdan, extends congratulations to Osama Ziad Al-Masri on this achievement. We wish him and all our students continued progress and success in representing the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on various Arab, regional, and international platforms.
