Opening the Hashemites’ Photos Exhibition in Al-Ahliyya Amman University

The President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Prof Sadeq Hamed opened the Hashemites’ photos Exhibition under the slogan “From Al-Hussein, the founder King to Abdullah II, the beloved King”. The exhibition was organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs and lasted over three days to mark the birthday of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein and to celebrate the anniversary of Al-Karamah battle. The exhibition, which a large number of students and instructors visited, included 73 photos which highlight the main joints in the historical construction of the Jordanian State seven decades ago and up till now. The President of the University said that through this exhibition we proudly remember the accomplishments of our Hashemite leaders in the modern history of Jordan; their role in serving the Jordanian people and the Arab and Islamic nations by defending their institutions and causes of and granting Jordan a quality leap of achievement, progress and grandness.He added that Al-Ahliyya Amman University is celebrating the anniversary of such a great day and an immortal battle where the sons of the homeland of our brave armed forces, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hussein, (God rest his soul in peace), achieved a glorious victory on the soil of our precious Jordan to be the greatest victory in the history of the Arab nation. The battle formed an important turning point in the history of the homeland and the nation. The Jordanian Army proved its steadfastness against an enemy, which planned the battle and it also proved that it is an army capable of protecting the homeland and the nation.In his turn, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Majed Usaili, hinted that the University prepared a large and integrated program for celebrating the anniversary of the immortal Battle of Al-Karamah.
