Open Day at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Prof. Dr. Sadeq Hamed, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, inaugurated the activities of the Open Day, organized by the Higher Committee for Community Service and Activities at Nizar Qabbani Auditorium. The activities of the Open Day was commenced with the rendition of the Jordanian anthem performed by the Gendarmerie Band, followed by reciting verses from the Holy Quran. The Open Day featured several events, including a performance by the University Choir, who presented Al-Ahliyya Amman University Chant and a play entitled Paris in Jordan performed by the University students, followed by a lyrical sketch by artists Hossam and Wisam Lozi. The Open Day also included outdoor activities that consisted of exhibiting food, sweets and juice, a variety of Gendarmerie musical performance, bicycle show by Umniah, in addition to a play performed by the University students entitled No Colors”. Lyrical sketches, Dabka, and cultural competitions in which students widely participated were also performed during the Open Day. At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Hamed presented shields to Staff Lieutenant Amjad Qudah, Commander of Gendarmerie Band, and artists Hossam and Wisam Lozi.
