National Forum for Development honors Al-Ahliyya Amman University

The Supreme Advisory Body of Quality Initiatives Program (QIMA) decided to grant the Quality Initiatives Shield for the year 2010 to Al-Ahliyya Amman University in support of the march of prosperity and development in Jordan, and the Quality Initiatives Shield for the year 2010 to Dr. Ahmad Al-Hourani, Chairman and founder of the University, in recognition of his structural, administrative and academic role. He Prof. Dr. Maher Saleem, President of the University, expressed his pleasure with honoring the University, and praised the Quality Initiatives that support outstanding achievements and excellence in Jordan. Mr. Mohammed Bdour, CEO and Rapporteur of the Quality Initiatives Advisory Board, stated that this national project encourages quality initiatives by individuals and institutions of outstanding performance providing the best level of services to citizens. He added that this initiative honors remarkable achievements at the national level to support the process of construction and prosperity in Jordan, in line with the vision and aspirations of His Majesty King Abdullah II. Dr. Hourani expressed his pride with this honor, which embodies the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II to support and promote outstanding investments and entrench the principles of community service through leading initiatives and employing potentials. Such initiatives will ultimately reflect positively on the nation. Dr. Hourani stressed that Al-Ahliyya Amman University will continue to be a beacon of science and knowledge and a symbol of the nation achievements and excellence. Dr. Hourani thanked the Supreme Advisory Body for granting the National Quality Initiatives Shield to the University. At the end of the meeting, which was attended by the University deans and heads of departments, Prof. Dr. Maher Saleem, presented the University Shield to members of the Supreme Advisory Board in recognition of their efforts honoring and recognizing the University efforts.
