Multimedia Design and Graphic Design departments organize meeting with freshmen

The Multimedia Design and Graphic Design Departments of the Faculty of Architecture and Design/ Al-Ahliyya Amman University organized a meeting that brought together freshmen with faculty members on Thursday, 4 November 2021. The meeting included a presentation of the vision, message, goals of the departments, the skills and knowledge acquired by the students, and samples of students' work. A detailed presentation was made on the study and advisory plans, and the university's modifications on the core and elective courses which apply to students enrolled in the department for the first semester 2021-2022.The meeting also included discussing Al Hourani Prize for Art and Design, which aims to activate the role of young people and to draw their attention to important and varied issues (cultural, environmental, health, educational, awareness, community), and to try to find innovative technical and design solutions that contribute to solving problems in a meaningful and effective way. A video was played about the first session of the competition and the winning projects. At the end of the meeting, the heads of departments honored the top-achieving students from each year of study in the department.
