"Multimedia and Graphic Design Department at the Faculty of Architecture and Design Participates in the Seventh International Conference of the Faculty of Applied Arts at Helwan University."

The Multimedia and Graphic Design Department at the Faculty of Architecture and Design, Amman Al Ahliya University, participated in the Seventh International Conference of the Faculty of Applied Arts, titled "The Future of Applied Arts between Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation," held online on Sunday, September 24, 2023. The conference was attended by the Academic Department Head, Dr. Faten El-Jazzar, and Dr. Imran Hassan, a faculty member and Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs. The conference addressed various important topics, including sustainable entrepreneurship in product and service design, with a significant role in the discussions. It also focused on the role of digital entrepreneurship in supporting sustainable design. In addition, the conference discussed community entrepreneurship and its vital role in promoting and preserving heritage crafts. There was also a significant focus on design within the digital transformation ecosystem, reviewing its applications and critical role in the field of design. The discussion extended to the design of simulation models using 3D printing technology and how this technology can contribute to sustainable product development. Regarding artificial intelligence, its applications in the field of design were discussed, and how it can enhance design processes and efficiency. Augmented reality applications in design were not neglected, and how this technology can be used to improve user experience and develop innovative products and services.
