Mr. Mohammed Bashir Delivers a Lecture in Al-Ahliyya Amman University

In line with the policy of Al-Ahliyya Amman University aimed at communicating with community institutions and enhancing cooperation in many fields, the Faculty of Business Administration and Finance, Accounting Department, hosted Mr. Mohammed Bashir, former chairman of the Chartered Accountants Association to deliver a lecture entitled “Professional Accounting and Auditing Certification Requirements”. Dr. Bashir addressed the requirements of the Jordanian Chartered Accountant Certificate (JCPA), in terms of the type of this certificate, required years of experience, and the subjects in which students are examined to obtain the certificate. Dr. Bashir also defined the employment scale for upgrading Jordanian chartered accountants. Dr. Bashir addressed the duties and responsibilities of chartered accountants, and the requirements for obtaining US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificates, and other accounting and administration certificates, e.g.(CMA) and financial analysis (CFA). At the end of the lecture, the guest answered the queries of students. The lecture was attended by Dean and heads of departments of the Faculty of Business Administration and Finance and a large gathering of students.
