Prof. Sari Hamdan, our university president, signed a memorandum of understanding with Al-Hussein Technical University (HTU), represented by its President, Prof. Ismail Al-Hinti. This collaboration focuses on one of the Crown Prince Foundation's initiatives, aiming to leverage the accelerated learning pathways of the HTUX.ORG platform, which is the first of its kind in the Arab world and developed by the Digital Learning Center at HTU.
Attending the signing ceremony from AAU were the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Bashar Al-Tarawneh, and Prof. Jamal Al-Nabulsi. From HTU, Vice President Prof. Lotfi Al-Sharif, Rami Al-Karmi, Director of the Digital Learning Center, and Eng. Mai Hijazi, Director of Digital Learning, were present.
Prof. Hamdan highlighted that Al-Ahliyya Amman University continuously seeks to strengthen its partnerships with leading educational institutions, contributing to raising the standard of higher education and improving its quality outcomes. He added, "We believe in the importance of academic cooperation in promoting innovation and equipping our students with the necessary tools to face labor market challenges."
He further explained that this partnership represents a strategic step towards enabling students to access innovative educational resources and specialized training programs that contribute to developing their technical and professional skills for the future.
Prof. Al-Hinti emphasized that the goal of the platform is to provide 4,000 free "Nomo" training opportunities for participating Jordanian university students, aiming to foster growth and change in their career paths by equipping them with skills for the modern and fast-paced job market.
The agreement includes active student participation to benefit from the accelerated learning initiatives on the HTUX.ORG platform. Additionally, sessions and events will be organized to raise awareness, promote, and provide information about the platform’s initiatives, targeting graduates and final-year students at Al-Ahliyya Amman University. These students are among the beneficiaries of the 4,000 free "Nomo" opportunities offered to Jordanian youth to promote growth and positive changes in their career paths through accelerated learning pathways lasting no more than six months, provided via the HTUX.ORG platform.
