Minister of Public Works and Housing and Minister of Transport Inaugurates the Job Day 2023 at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Under the patronage of His Excellency Engineer Maher Abu Al-Samn, Minister of Public Works and Housing and Minister of Transport, and organized by the Career Guidance and Graduate Follow-up Office at the Deanship of Student Affairs - Al-Ahliyya Amman University, the opening ceremony of the Job Day 2023 for graduates and members of the local community was held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at the university. The event was attended by the President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, deputies and assistants to the university president, the Dean of Student Affairs, and a number of officials from the public and private sectors, as well as deans, professors, students, and guests. The Job Day activities included active participation from seventy-five companies that presented numerous job vacancies for job seekers. The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Mustafa Al-Attiyat, highlighted the university's role in communicating with employers and assisting graduates in finding employment opportunities. The university, represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Maher Al-Hourani, and the university presidency represented by Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, is committed, like other national institutions, to providing employment opportunities for university graduates and members of the local community in light of the job challenges and increasing unemployment rates locally and globally, facing Jordanian youth. He appreciated the significant participation of Jordanian companies and institutions and the job opportunities they offered to young people. The President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University honored the Minister of Public Works and Housing and Transport by presenting him with a commemorative shield.
