Memorandum of Understanding between Al-Ahliyya Amman University and Salt Development Corporation

Within Al-Ahliyya Amman University policy which seeks, since its inception, to strengthen relations with the local community in order to provide services and participate in the projects organized by the local community institutions, and in line with the University policy geared towards contributing effectively in the investment of human resources and preserving and activating youth energies, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Al-Ahliyya Amman University and Salt Development Corporation. The Memorandum of Understanding aims to establish a culture of self-reliance through appropriate investment in cultural and human resources, and harnessing these resources for serving national goals and achieving youth welfare in the Jordanian society. This Memorandum of Understanding provides for commitment to coordination among the parties in order to support, finance, and follow-up youth projects for the target groups of youth and students in the city of Salt. Al-Ahliyya Amman University will prepare the program of activities for the development of the educational process for young people within the age group 16-18 years. The University will also offer all the capabilities and services available for the success of any youth project, in line with the applicable standards and internal instructions, will provide educational and technical consulting, and implement awareness programs on the importance of activating the role of youth in the local community. The agreement was signed for Al-Ahliyya Amman University by Prof. Dr. Maher Saleem, President of the University, and for Salt Development Corporation by the Chairman of its Board of Directors, HE Marwan Al-Hamoud. Prof. Dr. Maher Saleem handed Al-Ahliyya Amman University shield over to HE Mr. Marwan Al-Hamoud.
