Memorandum of Understanding between AAU and Pearson Education, UK
Al-Ahliyya Amman University, represented by our President, Prof. Sari Hamdan, inked an MoU with Pearson Education, based in the United Kingdom, represented by its Regional Director, Eng. Ahmed Kabaryeh. The agreement aims to provide international mid-level diploma programs (Pearson BTEC) in technical fields for students in the newly established Faculty of Technical Education at the university.
The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Ahmad Hamdan, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry; Prof. Bashar Al-Tarawneh, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Technical Education; Prof. Hadeel Al-Yaseen, Advisor to the President and Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies; Dr. Saba Al-Nusairat , Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design; Dr. Sobhieh Saifan, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology; and Mr. Rami Mansour, Director of the Financial Department.
Professor Sari Hamdan highlighted that this agreement is an important step toward enhancing the university's position in technical education and providing exceptional educational opportunities for students in technical disciplines. He emphasized that AAU continuously seeks to strengthen its partnerships with international educational institutions, which contributes to raising the quality of higher education, improving the quality of its outcomes, and equipping students with the necessary tools to face the challenges of the job market.
He added that this partnership represents a strategic step towards enabling students to access innovative and specialized educational resources that will contribute to developing their future technical and professional skills.
