Meeting for the Steering Committee of the Ninth National Technological Festival

In the presence of Prof. Sadeq Hamed, president of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, the steering Committee for the Ninth National Technological Festival held its first meeting at the University. Prof. Hamed assured the importance of such festivals and their role in the Jordanian creative and outstanding youth care. In addition, he expressed his support to these festival activities, which will be at Al-Arena Theatre this year.On the other hand, Dr. Muhammad Hassan, the chairman of the Steering Committee, indicated that this festival aims to motivate the creative thinking and the students’ practical skills. The festival starts on Wednesday 4/05/2016 under the name:” Think, Innovate, Create” .The festival organizes a competition for students’ projects of Jordanian universities on the following fields: green and sustainable technology, medical technology and vitality, innovation technology for people with special needs, and industrial and production technology, public safety and life quality technology , the defense and security technology, business and society technology , education and e-learning technology, entertainment technology and games. It is worth mentioning that this festival is held in collaboration with Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship. It is an annual event held at a Jordanian university to encourage the team working for students, develop their skills and practical abilities, motivate creative thinking, link education with the industrial sector and open communication channels between them , and link students’ projects with the labor market and local community needs.
