Lecture on “Energy Management and Efficiency in Buildings” at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Engineer Ahmed Rousan and Engineer Alaa Marei of the Royal Scientific Society delivered a lecture on “Energy Management and Efficiency in Buildings” in the presence of the professors and students of the Faculty of Engineering at Hourani e-Learning Center of Al-Ahliyya Amman University. During the lecture, the most important energy sources in Jordan and energy saving procedures were addressed, including the use of water heating systems operated by solar power and natural sun lighting during daylight hours, and other procedures, which in turn lead to reducing electricity bill. Dr. Rousan also tackled pilot energy rationalization projects for street lighting in Jordan, which reduced electric power load in the areas in which the projects have been implemented
