Lecture on Animation in the Arab World at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Within the extra-curricular activities organized by Al-Ahliyya Amman University, the Faculty of Architecture and Design organized a lecture entitled “Animation in the Arab World”. Dr. Hani Fareed outlined the early stages of animation, its development and most prominent artists. Then he touched upon some ads that have skillfully utilized this technology and excelled at it. Dr. Fareed exhibited a number of animated films produced by the Graphic Design students, demonstrating their ability to absorb this creative aspect of this lively and aesthetic art. The lecture was attended by Dr. Raed Qaqish, Dean of Faculty, department heads, faculty members and a large crowd of the Faculty students. At the end of the lecture, Dr. Hany Fareed responded to the discussions and interventions that ranged from critical to aesthetic points, thus further enriching the lecture and interesting presentation that appealed to the audience.
