Lecture Entitled “Publication in Scientific Journals” in Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Within the efforts of academic development of faculty members in Al-Ahliyya Amman University, a lecture entitled “Publication in Scientific Journals” was given by Professor Dr. Fuad Kettaneh. Dr. Kettaneh introduced the World Journal, the World Conference and the characteristics and attributes of scientific journals of all types. He stressed the importance of publication in international journals, particularly first-class journals, i.e. (ISI) list. During the lecture, the mechanism used for approving scientific journals in the international database was explained. Dr. Kettaneh demonstrated Hirsch index (H-INDEX), which measures the productivity of researchers and the importance of their research works. The meeting was attended by Dr. Inam Khalaf, Vice President, deans of faculties, and all faculty members at the University.
