Lecture by Professor Dr. Essam Zaabalawi on Student Services and European Experience in Al-Ahliyya Amman University

HE Prof. Dr. Essam Zaabalawi, President of the Arab Academy for Banking and Financial Sciences and an expert of higher education development at the National Tempus Office, delivered a lecture on student services and the European experience. The lecture was attended by the President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Prof. Dr. Sadeq Hamed, and faculty members. In the lecture, Dr. Zaabalawi addressed the first and second documents of the Universal Declaration of Higher Education which presented a new vision for higher education influenced by information and communication technology. He highlighted the principles and procedures necessary to meet the challenges, how to align between higher education and the labor market, and the specifications of active student affairs deanships. He pointed out to the principles of teaching and learning environment, including the provision of high quality programs and accurate information about the programs and clarifying the procedures and instructions regulating teaching and learning processes. At the end of the meeting, Dr. Zaabalawi answered the audience questions and interventions.
