Launching (Who is different) initiative at Al-Ahliyya Amman University
Under the auspices of Dr. Sadeq Hamed, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, in the presence of the British Ambassador to Jordan, Mr. Edward Oakden, and Mr. Nayef Stetieh, CEO of the Business Development Center (BDC), (Who is different) initiative was launched in cooperation between AAU and the Business Development Center. The initiative aims to highlight the role of young entrepreneurs from the governorates of Jordan who were able to overcome challenges and make use of their ideas and turn them into successful projects.The initiative also aims to give young people a clear view of the close link between the different sectors, especially the education sector, and the sponsors of small and medium-sized enterprises to provide them with a permanent business environment. The initiative further sheds light on the challenges the young people faced in implementing their creative ideas on the ground. During the initiative ceremony, AAU President said that the University students are responsible for advancement in order to face all challenges and keep abreast of the rapid technological development. There is an urgent need for such initiatives that develop creativity and innovation and enhance the skills of our students, he added. Dr. Hamed praised the sponsors supporting this event.The event featured an exhibition of creative ideas by the participants who were able, through perseverance and diligence, to start their companies and excel in business management field.
