Launching the Initiative “I Excel because I am Jordanian” at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Al-Ahliyya Amman University, in cooperation with the Public Security Directorate, has participated in the activities of launching the second phase of the National Initiative I Excel because I am Jordanian titled “Internet is your World … Protect yourself,” with the participation of Dean Sari Khashashneh, the Manager of the Central Region, the Dean of Student Affairs at the University, Dr. Anas Al-Saud, a number of members of the academic and administrative bodies, University students and senior public security officers. In this context, Lieutenant Hussein Al-Afif from the Electronic Crimes Unit in the Directorate of Criminal Investigation gave a lecture on methods of fraud, extortion, identity theft and operations of extremism, which conducted through the Internet, and focused on the importance of educating young people on the dangers of using Internet and social networks.At the end of the event, the students signed a document titled “Do Not Kill Me with Your Joy” in rejection of the idea of gunfire at social events.
