Kuwaiti Cultural Attaché visits Al-Ahliyya Amman University
Prof. Dr. Maher Saleem, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, received Dr. Attia Shammari, the Kuwaiti Cultural Counselor. Dr. Maher Saleem welcomed the guest to his second country, Jordan and to Al-Ahliyya Amman University, the first private university, the leader of higher education. Dr. Saleem emphasized the depth of relations between the two countries, which was consolidated by His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al- Sabah, President of the State of Kuwait. During the meeting, the two sides discussed several matters of mutual interest, which would upgrade higher education in the two countries through coordination and continuous cooperation between higher education institutions in Kuwait and Jordanian universities. During the visit, Dr. Attia Shammari, in the presence of AAU President and deans of faculties, met Kuwaiti students at the University. During the meeting. Dr. Shammari listened to student inquiries, and confirmed to them his concern with continued communication with the students in the universities to identify their interests and facilitate their study process. At the end of the meeting, the Cultural Advisor thanked the administrators of the University, represented by its President, Prof. Dr. Maher Saleem, for their sustained attention to all students at the University and providing any necessary assistance in the teaching process.
