Knowledge and Experience Exchange Lecture for Faculty Members and Graduate Students at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Under the auspices of the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Tanani, a lecture entitled Center for Pharmaceutical Studies: Achievements and Aspirations was conducted by Professor Dr. May Khanfar/ Director of the Center for Pharmaceutical Studies at the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Al Hourani Center for E-Learning which was attended by a large number of faculty members and higher education students of the faculty.The lecture was organized by Dr. Naeem Shaalan, Head of the Department of Pharmaceuticals and Technology as part of the lecture series Sharing knowledge and experiences of faculty members and higher education students.The lecture focused on clinical pharmacological studies and bioequivalence studies as well as bioavailability studies and the stages they go through at the Center for Pharmacological Studies at JUST. It is worth mentioning that Dr. May Khanfar, Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology at the Faculty of Pharmacy at JUST, received her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Technology in 2004, and she previously served as an assistant professor at the University of Philadelphia before joining JUST in 2010. In 2018, She became Head of the Pharmaceutical Technology Department and is currently the Director of the Pharmaceutical Research Center.Furthermore, she is interested in the formulation of medicines, solid state characterization and drug delivery systems, and is also the author of more than 38 research articles in internationally accredited and indexed scientific journals, and she currently serves on the advisory editorial board of several accredited pharmaceutical journals.
