Kathleen M. Browne of Rider University visits Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Professor Dr. Maher Saleem, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, received Dr. Kathleen M. Brown of Rider University in the United States and Mr. Mohammed Nasser Director of the Office of International Studies – Amman. The meeting aimed at discussing ways of mutual cooperation between the two universities, in line with the AAU objectives and policy based on scientific and cultural communication. This step is geared towards promoting closer relations between the two universities and cooperation in scientific and cultural fields, and research. The guest listened to a briefing by the President of the University, Dr. Saleem, on the establishment and development of the University and the disciplines offered at the University. The guest was impressed by Al-Ahliyya Amman University excellence and innovation and the modern teaching methods that serve the students. The guest took a tour on the campus facilities, accompanied by Dr. Mustafa Yassin, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology. The visit included Hourani e-Learning Centre, Arena Complex, and the Faculty of Engineering and Science Management and the Faculty of Information Technology. Dr. Kathleen thanked the University administration, represented by its President, Dr. Saleem, for the warm reception. At the end of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Maher Saleem, President of the University, presented the University shield to the guest delegation.
