Jamil and Juliette Awwad Lecture on “Art: My Experience at AAU

The prominent artist Jamil Awwad, in collaboration with the brilliant actress Juliette Awwad gave a lecture at Al-Ahliyyah Amman University (AAU) Hourani E-learning Center entitled Art: My Experience, organized by the Cultural Committee of the Faculty of Architecture and Design. The two artists reviewed their journey in the fields of culture and theatrical experiences, highlighting the luminous stations in their creative lives, including television series and scenography, among others. AAU President Professor Sadeq Hamed had received the two artists in his office and valued their visit, hailing them as pillars of Jordanian artists with a message. He confirmed that in the process of implementing its vision, mission and lofty objectives AAU is keen to attract icons of culture and art celebrities who will contribute to refining the students’ talents and promoting their educational development. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design Dr. Nasser Abu Anza, the Faculty members, and a large gathering of students from the Faculty, in addition to the Director of the Office of Public and International Relations. At the end of the meeting, the two artists candidly answered questions raised by the audience.
