Introductory field tour for students of Hospitality and Culinary Arts Management Program at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

In complement of the orientation program prepared by the faculties of Al-Ahliyya Amman University for freshmen, which aims to introduce students to the university systems, regulations, and facilities, the Deanship of the Business School organized a field visit for the students of the Hospitality and Culinary Arts Management Program to the Mövenpick Amman Hotel. The event included a welcome speech by Mr. Ayman Rashid, General Manager of the Hotel, in which he urged students to move forward with this promising program, which corresponds to the needs and requirements of hotels and restaurants. He pointed out the available career opportunities and the career future of the hospitality and culinary arts professions. This was followed by a field tour in the hotel facilities and a lunch.The visit aimed to introduce students to the requirements of the industry and to urge them to continue their educational and training programs and reduce the gap between the requirements of education and training and the needs of the labor market.
