Introducing students of Al-Ahliyya Amman University to the Innovation Laboratory for Future Nutrition in Jordan

On Wednesday, June 1, 2022, the Faculty of Nursing organized an introductory campaign for the students of Pharmacy and Supporting Medical Sciences students in collaboration with the Jordan Future Nutrition Innovation Laboratory (JNIL) as part of the USAID-funded Feed the Future initiative.JNIL aims to provide evidence on the impact of the USAID-backed Community Health and Nutrition Program (CHN) and build academic capacity to support research on health and nutritional status for pregnant and nursing women and children under the age of two in Jordan. The initiative will encourage students to participate in capacity-building activities in maternal and infant nutrition (MIYCN) by attending workshops, sessions and a conference that will be held in August in Jordan. Campaigners have established a student database to encourage students electronically and remind them to participate.
