Interior Design Department Holds Workshop on "Using Resin in Furniture and Model Making"

The Interior Design Department at the Faculty of Architecture and Design, AAU, held a workshop on "Using Resin in Furniture and Model Making" on Monday, December 9, 2024. The workshop was presented by Engineer Nadine Shaban, an administrative member in the Department of Architectural Engineering, as part of the Model Making for Interior Design course, supervised by Dr. Dana Amro and administrative member Mohammad Khaleel. The workshop included a theoretical presentation on using resin to design furniture pieces and models, along with the process of making them, understanding the materials and tools, and ensuring safe usage methods. Practical application was also provided, with student participation. The workshop aimed to introduce students to various materials used in model and furniture design, encouraging creativity, innovation, and out-of-the-box thinking.
