Interactive Workshop for Faculty Members of Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Within the context of developing faculty members of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, the University held an interactive workshop on learning outputs and the importance of these outputs. The workshop was conducted in the presence of deans of faculties, heads of departments, and rapporteurs of study plans committees. During the workshop, Prof. Inam Khalaf, Vice President for Academic Affairs, addressed the importance of designing academic programs and courses to reflect the learning outputs. Dr. Khalaf tackled the balance of outputs, which include “cognitive domain, affective domain, and skills domain”. She stressed the importance of implementing the principles and concepts related to the intended learning outputs. She referred to the techniques of drafting learning outputs and the importance of linking these outputs with the desired graduate competence.
