“Insulin Dosing” Lecture at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Nutritionist Ruwa Kahhaleh delivered a lecture entitled “Insulin Dosing” organized by the Committee of Pharmacist Field Training at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences at Al-Ahliyya Amman University. During the lecture, Ms. Kahhale talked about types of diabetes, diagnostic methods, and the importance of insulin for the body and its mechanism of operation. She referred to the methods of treatment used, the available insulin pharmaceutical forms, method of insulin administration, how to calculate the dose for diabetics based on food intake and the role of pharmacists in helping patients. The lecture was attended by Dr. Ghalib Oreikat, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences, Dr. Mohammed Sakran, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Arts, a group of faculty members at the Faculty, members of the Pharmaceutical Field Training Committee, and a group of students.
