Inauguration of the Second Scientific Forum for AAU’s Faculty of Pharmacy

The second scientific forum of our Faculty of Pharmacy was inaugurated under the patronage of Prof. Sari Hamdan, our President. The opening ceremony was attended by academic representatives from Jordanian pharmacy faculties, in addition to representatives from the Jordan Pharmacists Association, pharmaceutical industry companies, drug warehouses, and community pharmacies. Prof. Wisam Ammari, Dean of our Faculty of Pharmacy, delivered a welcoming speech at the opening ceremony, thanking the attendees and the participating speakers. In his address, he highlighted that amidst rapid advancements in pharmaceutical sciences and the integration of modern technology, including artificial intelligence applications in various pharmaceutical and medical fields, the second scientific forum of the Faculty of Pharmacy provides a valuable opportunity to explore the latest developments and innovations. It serves as a platform for academic, industrial, and professional exchange among attendees, including Pharmacy students, to share knowledge, ideas, and experiences. The forum featured scientific and professional lectures delivered by Dr. Lamia Al-Nazir and Dr. Rawaa Al-Rabie from the Hussein Cancer Center, Dr. Abdulhamid Alimat, Secretary and Council Member of the Jordan Pharmacists Association, Dr. Huda Ibrahim from Health Computing Company - Hakeem Program, Mr. Ahmad Al-Samadi, CEO of Technology at Aumet, Dr. Mohammad Al-Qana, Director of Data Products and Artificial Intelligence at Aumet, and Dr. Ammar Al-Shaneer, Assistant Director of Biotechnology Quality at Wisdom Pharmaceuticals. Additionally, the scientific forum included an exhibition with participation from pharmaceutical companies, cosmetic products manufacturers, and the newly established Pharmaceutical and Diagnostic Research Center at our AAU.
