In the Presence of the Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court and Under the Patronage of the University President: AAU Dental Students Take the Professional Oath to Begin Clinical Training
In the presence of the Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court, His Excellency Mr. Yousef Al-Issawi, and under the patronage of the President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Professor Sari Hamdan, the Faculty of Dentistry at the university organized a professional oath-taking ceremony for its students, marking the commencement of their clinical training and direct engagement with patients.
The ceremony was attended by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Professor Ahmad Hamdan, and the Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Mustafa Al-Atiyyat, in addition to a number of faculty and administrative staff members, students’ families, and invited guests.
In his remarks, Professor Sari Hamdan expressed the university’s pride in its students, noting that the professional oath represents a pivotal milestone in their academic and professional journey. He emphasized that, through this step, students begin to assume practical responsibilities in treating patients in accordance with the highest standards of professionalism and medical ethics, reflecting the university’s mission in serving the community.
For his part, Professor Ahmad Hamdan stated that taking the oath reflects students’ commitment to the ethical and humanitarian values of the profession. He affirmed the faculty’s dedication to providing an advanced educational environment that integrates theoretical knowledge with practical application, in line with the latest global standards in dental education.
The ceremony concluded with the students taking the professional oath in the presence of their families, in an atmosphere of pride and accomplishment, marking the beginning of their clinical training phase.
