In the Framework of Cooperation with Local Community Institutions, Al-Ahliyya Amman University and KNAUF Company Signed a Memorandum of Understanding

Al-Ahliyya Amman University signed a memorandum of understanding with the International Company KNAUF. The memorandum was signed by the President of the University, Prof. Sadeq Hamed and Engineer Hani Al-Qurna, the Regional Director of the Company. This agreement calls for establishing a nucleus training center in the University which will be the first of its kind in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. This center provides the opportunity to train students of the Faculty of Architecture and Design and to acquaint them with modern methods used in the construction of dry walls systems which meet the highest international quality standards. This can be achieved by establishing a training workshop that utilizes the techniques of the dry construction at the University.This agreement is an outcome of the tireless efforts of the Faculty of Architecture and Design which intends to establish and activate communication with local community institutions to enhance students’ skills in all areas of design. Dr. Rana Al-Matarnah, the Dean of Faculty of Architecture and Design attended signing the agreement.
