In confirmation of institutionalism and promoting quality and quality assurance standards and in conjunction with the University celebration of its silver jubilee, Al-Ahliyya Amman University acquires ISO 9001: 2008 Certification
Within its permanent and continuous quest for institutionalization and improving its academic and administrative performance level, Al-Ahliyya Amman University acquired the quality management system certification ISO 9001: 2008 after proving its ability to satisfy all requirements of the international standard and its application in the fields of education, academic research and community service. The University seeks to meet the requirements and needs of students and researchers in various areas of knowledge through the provision of appropriate educational environment, supporting and stimulating academic research, matching it with the labor market requirements, and promoting the role of the University in community service. This is achieved through the introduction and adoption of quality concepts and systems which are based on the development and implementation of policies and procedures that take into account quality standards and quality assurance in higher education institutions, and any other quality systems adopted by the University. These measures include all colleges, deans, organizational units and various facilities. The University maintains a leading position among higher education institutions not only at Jordan level, but at the regional and the Arab world level as well.Established in 1990, Al-Ahliyya Amman University is the first private university in Jordan. It is the leading experience of the private sector in higher education. The University is accredited at the public and private level and is a member in the Union of Arab, Islamic and International Universities.
