In Collaboration with Vienna Healthcare Group: AAU Launches Employment Program for Jordanian Nursing Graduates in Austria

On Tuesday, July 9, our AAU launched an employment program for nursing graduates from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. This program involves training Jordanian nurses in the German language up to level A2, followed by enrollment in another language training program in Vienna, Austria, and then starting work with the Vienna Healthcare Group. Professor Anas Al-Saud, Vice President for International Relations and Quality Affairs at our AAU, explained that nursing graduates from Jordan can apply for this program through the dedicated online platform on the university’s website starting today. The first batch will be selected before the end of this month to join the free training program starting August 3, 2024, at AAU campus for a period of two months, without conflicting with the working hours of nurses employed in hospitals. Professor Anas Al-Saud further clarified that Vienna Healthcare Group covers all training, travel, accommodation costs, and provides a competitive monthly salary. This initiative aims to attract outstanding Jordanian talents in the nursing field. Additionally, nurses who participate in the program and fulfill the legal requirements will be eligible for permanent residency and may opt for Austrian citizenship if desired.
