Hosting a ceremony at Al-Ahliyya Amman University for mothers with cancer on the occasion of Mother's Day
On the occasion of Mother's Day, on 21/3/2010, under the auspices of the Dean of Student Affairs, on behalf of Prof. Dr. Maher Saleem, President of the University, the Career Qualification Office of King Abdullah II Fund, in cooperation with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, hosted and honored 30 mothers with cancer from King Hussein Cancer Centre. The ceremony featured a variety of activities presented by the University students, as a message of hope to the patient mothers. At the end of the ceremony, Dean of Student Affairs, on behalf of the President of the University, presented symbolic gifts for mothers. This is the fourth project within Painting a Smile Program of King Abdullah II Fund that falls within the University community service activities. This Program aims to develop social responsibility among students and connect students with the community institutions.
