Honoring Two International Students from Al-Ahliyya Amman University at the Ministry of Higher Education’s Top Achievers Ceremony

Under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, represented by the International Students Affairs Unit, Al-Ahliyya Amman University participated in the ceremony honoring top international students at Jordanian higher education institutions for the 2024/2025 academic year, held at the Signia by Hilton Amman, with broad official and academic attendance. The University was represented by Dr. Nour Al-Dabbas, Vice Dean of Student Affairs. During the event, two AAU students were honored in recognition of their academic excellence: Shatha Mohammed Al-Sawsa from the Republic of Yemen, who earned a Bachelor’s degree in Translation, and Jelnar Miradova from the Republic of Turkistan, who earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration. The recognition celebrates their distinguished performance throughout their studies at the University. Dr. Nour Al-Dabbas expressed pride in this achievement, affirming that the honor reflects the high academic caliber of AAU students and embodies the University’s commitment to providing a stimulating learning environment that fosters excellence and leadership, especially among international students. The ceremony featured official remarks and an introduction to the identity of the International Students Affairs Unit under the slogan “Study in Jordan,” along with a video documenting the growth of international student enrollment in the Kingdom. The program also included poetry and artistic performances by talented students, and concluded with the distribution of certificates and commemorative shields to the honorees and a group photo session.
