Holding a Scientific Lecture in the AAU Titled “Rainmaking (Artificial Precipitation) in Jordan: Prospects and Aspirations)

The Department of Civil Engineering at Al-Ahliyya Amman University in cooperation with the Department of Meteorology held a lecture titled “Rainmaking (Artificial Precipitation) in Jordan: Prospects and Aspirations” on Monday, 17/4/2017. The lecture was delivered by Engineer Dhafi Al-Riyalat/ the Manager of Rainmaking Project in the Department of the Jordanian Meteorology. He talked about the concept of rainmaking, its scientific methods and the experience of rainmaking in Jordan assisted by the rich Thai experience in this area.The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering along with a number of faculty members in the Department of Civil Engineering and students attended the lecture.
