Her Royal Highness, Princess Rahma, Inaugurates the Bazaar and Exhibition of Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Her Royal Highness, Princess Rahma, inaugurated on Wednesday, 30/11/2016 the Communities' bazaar and exhibition for the year 2016 under the title We are FamilyThe exhibition which was supervised by the Deanship of Student Affairs includes handmade works, textiles, vocational collections and popular dishes of the participating countries as well as drawings, paintings and brochures of touristic areas and their history.President of the University, Prof. Sadiq Hamid, said that the establishment of such a bazaar aims to increase cooperation among the students of the University which embraces students from over 60 nationalities.Prof. Hamid added that we should acquaint students with different cultures among themselves. He indicated that the University constantly held charitable activates in order to familiarize students with the human aspects and to involve them in the local community.The Director of the Department of Public and International Relations, Ms Enas Al-Hourani, emphasized that the bazaar sales would benefit the chaste families, orphanages and the elderly homes and to take advantage of the winter clothing campaign.It is noteworthy that the participating countries are Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Tunisia, Libya, Yemen, Iraq, Syria and Palestine in addition to Jordan.
