Head of the Kuwaiti Cultural Office visits Al-Ahliyya Amman University and meets Kuwaiti students

Dr. Mohammed Al-Thufairi, Head of the Kuwaiti Cultural Office in Amman, visited Al-Ahliyya Amman University as part of the cultural attaché keenness to follow up on the conditions of Kuwaiti students in Jordan. At the beginning of the meeting, which was attended by the Vice President of the University, faculty members, and administrative staff, Dr. Sadeq Hamed, President of the University, welcomed Dr. Al-Thufairi. Dr. Hamed said that Kuwaiti students receive care and attention at the University as if they were among their families and in their home country. Dr. Hamed underscored the close relations between Jordan and the State of Kuwait. He expressed his pride in the Kuwaiti students enrolled in the University and stressed that they are treated with love and affection. He called the Kuwaiti students to contact the University officials to make any comments they deem appropriate to achieve their aspirations, and urged them to participate in university activities. He added that the University is keen to ensure the comfort of expatriate students and to provide all the means available to create a university academic atmosphere that is appropriate for all. He called the students to prove their academic excellence and commended the students who enjoy high morals. He wished the students to hold good memories about the University and Jordan when they come back to their country, while having acquired the degrees they deserve. Dr. Al-Thufairi delivered a speech in which he thanked the President of the University, faculty members, and administrative staff for the attention they dedicate to Kuwaiti students to overcome all the difficulties faced by them. He said that Jordan and Kuwait have common grounds in all aspects of life. He called the students to adhere to the regulations and laws, and strive to take advantage of the scientific and academic atmosphere offered by the University. Finally, Al-Thufairi wished the students a bright future. At the end of the meeting, the President of the University and Dr. Mohammed Al-Thufairi listened to the questions and comments of Kuwaiti students. The students thanked the President of the University, faculty members and administrative staff for the care and attention granted to them.
