Harvard University Delegation Visits AAU

Prof. Sari Hamdan, President of AAU, received a delegation headed by Mr. Powell Bottineau, the Director of Innovative Education at Harvard University of America. The reception was attended by Vice-President Prof. Suleiman Al-Lawzi, Dr. Anas Al-Su’ood and Mr. Khaled Al-Zu’be. In this meeting, the President of AAU gave a detailed talk about AAU, its faculties, activities and centers specially The Hourani Center for E-Learning and the Business Incubator. On his turn, Dr. Powell expressed his opinion about how to develop, operate and benefit from these centers in the best way. In this meeting both parties agreed on providing AAU with a special study regarding the mechanism of operating these centers based on his experience and the nature of his job at Harvard University which holds the third rank in the world. At the end of the visit, the delegation toured in the University facilities and viewed the Business Incubator. This visit came as a result of the AAU participation in the Euvent Entrepreneurship Forum which was hosted by Henly Academy in Jordan.
