Graduate Studies and Allied Medical Sciences Faculties Hold a Specialized Introductory Workshop on the American Board in Medical Laboratory Sciences (APSCI-MLS)

The Faculty of Graduate Studies, in cooperation with the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences, held a workshop on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, via Microsoft Teams titled: "Your Journey to Professional Excellence: Introduction to the American Board in Medical Laboratory Sciences (APSCI-MLS)." The workshop, moderated by Prof. Dr. Hala Al-Daghistani, hosted Mr. Salah Al-Buhaisi, Member of the American Board Society, from the United States, to introduce master's students to the steps for applying for the exam and the available specializations. The session was also attended by a number of faculty members. The workshop emphasized that obtaining this certificate reflects advanced scientific competence and confirms the quality of study plans and their alignment with global standards. The workshop also highlighted the competitive advantage of this certificate in local and international job markets, serving as a quality benchmark that opens broad horizons for career advancement. In conclusion, the floor was opened to address students' inquiries regarding registration procedures and exam preparation.
