Future Builders Forum honors Al-Ahliyya Amman University students
In line with Al-Ahliyya Amman University vision and mission to communicate with community organizations, the Deanship of Student Affairs/Department of Cultural Activity participated in the course hosted by Future Builders Forum entitled “Development of Journalistic Skills among the Youth”. The Forum aims to introduce young people to the basic journalism skills and jargon. In an opening speech, the Chairman of the Administration of the Forum, Essam Al Zawawi, said that the Forum organizes such courses in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, the media and a number of stakeholders. The Forum considers the development of young people as a sacred obligation and a great honor to create a generation that embraces the values of its history, achievements of the nation, and scientific and cultural thought that combines tradition and modernity. He added that the Forum organized training courses specializing in the development of journalistic skills, leadership skills and methods of generating creative ideas for the youth. He pointed out that such activities bring about the desired change in order to achieve the Royal vision of change actors. He praised the role of the Forum in preparing a generation equipped with science, knowledge, and self-confidence. The course was attended by a large number of students from Jordanian universities. At the end of the course, HE Ms. Rabiha Dabbas, Minister of Municipal Affairs, honored the student participating in the course.
